Armenian, Azerbaijani FMs agree to meet in early 2018
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. While on a working visit in Vienna, Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian met with foreign minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov on December 6, the Armenian foreign ministry told Armenpress.
The meeting launched in the presence of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, which was followed by a private meeting.
The meeting agenda of the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers focused on the ways of implementing the agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries during the Vienna , St. Petersburg and Geneva summits.
By the proposal of the Co-Chairs an agreement was reached to organize the upcoming meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs in early 2018.
During the meeting the dates of the next visit of the Co-Chairs to the region were also discussed.
