Karabakh parliamentary elections were free and fair, Armenian NA delegation says
YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS. The members of the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, observing the parliamentary elections of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, had meetings with the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and representatives of political parties. The delegation conducted an observation mission and they certify that the Nagorno Karabakh Republic held open and transparent parliamentary elections in compliance with all the democracy standards.
As “Armenpress” reported states from capital Stapanakert, the head of the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Edward Sharmazanov stated that the delegation split into 4 groups and the MPs didn’t record any violation.
Among other things, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Edward Sharmazanov underscored: “The people of Karabakh proved that they is the master of their destiny and proved its right to live in a free and independent state. These elections can be exemplary for all the countries of the region.”
