Gyumri bidding farewell to six-month-old child
YEREVAN, 20 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. The body of six-month-old Seryozha Avetisyan, who survived the massacre of the Avetisyans in Gyumri and passed away in Yerevan on January 19, has been transferred to Gyumri. A Requiem Service is being held at St. Nshan Church. As “Armenpress” reports, a liturgy has been held since morning, and more and more people are visiting the church to pay tribute to the six-month-old child.
Among those attending the Requiem Service are Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, Minister of Health Armen Muradyan, Deputies of the National Assembly, as well as representatives of the authorities of Shirak Province and Gyumri.
