Armenia and Georgia discuss defence cooperation

Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan met with Commander of the Georgian Defence Forces Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili at the Defence Ministry headquarters.

The Armenian defence minister announced the meeting on his Facebook page.

“We discussed issues concerning defence cooperation between Armenia and Georgia, as well as regional security,” Suren Papikyan wrote.

Commander of the Georgian Defence Forces Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili arrived in Armenia on an official visit on 3 November.
