The first Armenia–United Kingdom Business Forum is set to take place in Yerevan on October 5–6, bringing together more than 800 participants, including over 100 delegates from the United Kingdom, organizers said.
In an episode of the Armenpress Podcast, Alexander Shaghikyan, Chairman of the Board of the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia, said the forum is aimed at strengthening and developing business, investment and institutional ties between Armenia and the United Kingdom.
The forum will open with a gala concert on October 5, while the main business program will take place on October 6.
The event is organized by the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia in partnership with the Government of Armenia, represented by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Enterprise Armenia and the Armenian British Business Chamber – ABBC.
The forum comes at a time when Armenia is strengthening its position as a strategic destination for investment, trade and innovation initiatives. Against the backdrop of deepening cooperation with the European Union and the TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) initiative, Armenia is taking another step toward establishing its role as an emerging hub connecting Europe, the Middle East and Asia and creating new opportunities for investment aimed at sustainable, long-term growth.
The Armenia–United Kingdom Business Forum 2026 will bring together more than 800 participants, including over 100 delegates from the United Kingdom, more than 25 speakers and over 10 institutional partners. Participants will represent the fields of public administration, finance, infrastructure, natural resources and energy, artificial intelligence, education and culture.
The forum will bring together government officials and business leaders, investors, innovators and members of the academic community on one platform to promote dialogue, build strategic partnerships and identify new opportunities for Armenian-British cooperation.
The forum will conclude with the presentation of the Armenian–British Bridge Builder Award.
Following the forum, on October 7–8, selected delegates from the United Kingdom and their Armenian counterparts will participate in sector-specific B2B and B2G meetings to continue professional discussions and build long-term trade partnerships.
