New friend of our soldiers: Pashinyan introduces quadrupedal military robot

Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has shared a video on Facebook presenting a new technical addition to the Armenian Armed Forces - a quadrupedal robot.

“The new friend of our soldiers,” the Prime Minister wrote, posting footage of the robot responding to commands.

Quadrupedal robots are used for various military and security purposes, including reconnaissance and surveillance. They are also used for detecting or neutralizing explosives, transporting weapons or special equipment, and replacing personnel in dangerous environment.
