President bestows state awards ahead of Independence Day

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has bestowed state awards upon distinguished public servants, officials, servicemembers, and others on the occasion of Independence Day.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who attended the ceremony with other top government officials at the Presidential Residence on Friday, posted a video from the event.

“A solemn awarding ceremony of state awards ahead of Independence Day,” the PM wrote in a social media post.

Armenia celebrates Independence Day on September 21.
