New deputy chiefs of police named

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Artur Martirosyan to serve as Deputy Police Chief of Armenia.

Martirosyan was serving as the Acting Head of the Anti Organized Crime Department of the Armenian Police at the time of the appointment.

President Armen Sarkissian has already formalized the appointment based on the PM’s recommendation.

In a separate decree, the presidentformalized the appointment of Tigran Yesayan as Deputy Chief of Police of Armenia based on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s recommendation.

Colonel Yesayan was serving as First Deputy Director of the Police Academy before the appointment.
