Russia’s Putin extends condolences on demise of Gohar Vardanyan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. President of Russia Vladimir Putin extended condolences over the death of great Soviet intelligence officer Gohar Vardanyan, RIA Novosti reported.

Gohar Vardanyan died on November 25 at the age of 94.

Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said President Putin extended condolences to the family members and relatives of Gohar Vardanyan. “Without Gohar Vardanyan and her spouse Gevorg, the history of our world could have another course”, Peskov said, adding that Putin knew quite well both Gohar and her spouse.
