Authorities confiscate lawyer’s computer in criminal investigation

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The rapid response team of the Human Rights Defender’s Office has been dispatched to the office of lawyer Hovhannes Chamsaryan amid reports that the National Security Service wants to confiscate his computer as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

The National Security Service said they will soon issue a statement about the matter.

According to unconfirmed reports Chamsaryan is representing witnesses in the criminal case in question.

The lawyer has hinted that the case might be linked with Ashtarak Kat, a local producer of dairy products. This version is yet to be confirmed.
