Egyptian scholars visit Armenian Genocide memorial in Yerevan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The Egyptian delegation taking part in the “Armenia and the Transforming Middle East” international seminar organized by the Armenian National Academy of Sciences visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on November 20th.

Egypt’s delegation – General Mohammad Ibrahim, Doctor Mohammd Al Zayat and Doctor Mohammad Farahat – are representing the Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies (Cairo).

Ambassador of Egypt to Armenia Bahaa El Din Bahgat Dessouki accompanied the delegation during the visit.

They laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in honor of the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The delegation then toured the Armenian Genocide Museum.
