President hands over 1st degree Order for “Services to the Motherland” to composer Mansuryan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian signed a decree according to which renowned composer, People’s Artist of Armenia Tigran Mansuryan has been awarded with the 1st Degree Order for the “Services to the Motherland” for the great contribution to the development of music art and his major achievements in the field, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.

President Sarkissian handed over the high state award to the composer at the Presidential Palace.

Armen Sarkissian congratulated Mansuryan wishing good health and new creative achievements. “You deserved the love of our people long ago. But you still need to work: the more legacy you leave, the richer we will be”, the Armenian President said.
