YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS. The Special Investigations Service is entitled to question anyone, head of the service Sasun Khachatryan told reporters when asked about the criminal investigation which has relation to incumbent President of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan’s tenure as Justice Minister several years ago.

“We received the criminal case yesterday, we are still studying it, I will not make any comments about it now. We have the right to question any person. The Constitutional Court’s consent is not required for questioning,” Khachatryan said.

On October 29, the Investigations Committee has announced it has gathered information on “Hrayr Tovmasyan’s direct participation in apparent crimes” during his tenure as Minister of Justice.
