President Sarkissian receives UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 29, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today received the delegation led by UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.
President Sarkissian highly valued the close cooperation between Armenia and the UN in different areas, thanks to which numerous important programs have been implemented. “We have quite a comprehensive and productive cooperation, as well as a great desire to make it more practical and more targeted”, Armen Sarkissian said.
The sides exchanged views on the mutual partnership within the organization and its structures, in particular the joint agenda in sustainable development and innovation spheres.
