Armenia’s Hakob Mkrtchyan wins gold at European U23 Weightlifting Championship

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Youth Weightlifting Team’s Hakob Mkrtchyan has won gold and set a record at the U23 European Championship in Bucharest, Romania.

Mkrtchyan became champion in the 89kg division with a total of 375kg result (165kg snatch and 210 kg clean and jerk).

Armenia’s Davit Hovhannisyan won bronze in the same division.
