Constitutional Court rejects parliament’s motion on ousting Hrayr Tovmasyan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. The Constitutional Court of Armenia has made a decision to reject the examination of the “On Terminating Constitutional Court Judge Hrayr Tovmasyan’s Powers” case.

The Constitutional Court said in a statement that the ruling was made during an October 14 session.

It said the decision will be published within a period prescribed by law.

On October 4, the Armenian parliament adopted a resolution on requesting the Constitutional Court to oust Hrayr Tovmasyan, the president of the Constitutional Court.
