Xi Jinping congratulates Armenian people on Independence Day

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. President of China Xi Jinpinghas addressed a congratulatory telegram to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on the 28th Armenian Independence Day.

“On behalf of the Chinese Government and people, as well as myself, I am sincerely congratulating and addressing good wishes to the friendly Armenian people in person of you on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.

Currently the Chinese-Armenian friendly relations are dynamically developing. High level close contacts are carried out between the two countries, political mutual-trust is getting stronger, comprehensive cooperation within the joint implementation of the One Belt One Road initiative is advancing. I attach great importance to the development of the Chinese-Armenian relations and I am ready to secure the mutually beneficial and continuous enhancement of bilateral ties through joint efforts with you for the welfare of the peoples of our countries.
