Tax revenues grow by 21,3% in January-August 2019

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Tax revenues registered in Armenia’s state budget increased by 21.3% in January-August 2019 against the January-August 2018, according to the data released by the State Revenue Committee.

According to the SRC data, the volumes of tax revenues and state fees in the aforementioned period comprised 937.3 billion drams against the 772.6 billion drams of 2018.

The increase in tax revenues in this period is mainly conditioned with the increase in VAT (nearly 17%), income tax (17.4%), revenue tax (around 16.3%), profit tax, as well as customs fees (8.1%).

In the reporting period the tax revenues in terms of revenue tax recorded a drastic increase, rising by nearly 44.5% (20.2 billion drams) in January-August 2019.
