Russian fertiliser and liquefied gas shipped to Armenia via Azerbaijan

Liquefied gas and fertiliser have been shipped from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani media reported the development.

“Fourteen railway wagons carrying propane, with a total cargo of 470 tonnes, and five railway wagons carrying fertiliser, with a total cargo of 339 tonnes, were dispatched from the Bilajari station to Boyuk Kesik,” the Azerbaijani media reported.

According to the reports, more than 36,000 tonnes of grain, around 8,000 tonnes of fertiliser, 1,136 tonnes of propane, 133 tonnes of aluminium and 414 tonnes of anthracite have so far been transported from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan.

They added that Azerbaijan has supplied Armenia with more than 14,000 tonnes of diesel fuel and nearly 5,000 tonnes of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline.
