PM awards group of rescuers

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. At the recommendation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President Armen Sarkissian has signed an order on awarding a number of rescuers and officials at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sarkissian’s Office said in a news release.

The rescuers were awarded on the occasion of their occupational holiday for “bravery and devotion in service”.

Colonel Artak Nahapetyan, Head of the Rescue Service at the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Colonel Serob Gabrielyan, Head of the Lori Provincial Department of the Rescue Service were awarded the 2nd class medal For Services to the Fatherland.

The Medal of Gratitude was bestowed upon Commander of the Meghri Firefighting Brigade Captain Vahe Hovhannisyan and para-rescuer NCO Georgy Mkhitaryan.
