Government views Armenia as industrial country – PM

TSAKHKADZOR, AUGUST 17, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is participating in the My Step For Kotayk Province business forum in Tsakhkadzor.

The investment forum is sponsored by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development and the Kotayk Provincial Government.

Investment programs aimed at agriculture, industry, tourism and other sectors based in the province will be presented.

At the b beginning of the event the PM delivered remarks, emphasizing that Hrazdan, Charentsavan and Abovyan – towns of the province – were once the industrial power of Soviet Armenia and today’s event is a good chance to emphasize that the government views Armenia as an industrial country

“Our actions must be aimed at the realization of this very goal,” the PM said, adding that the government’s priority is to ensure conditions which will develop industrial competition.

“This is an important and delicate work which we must do soon,” he said.
