Zareh Sinanyan has first Cabinet meeting in Armenia

YEREVAN, AUGUST 8, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan had his first Cabinet meeting today.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed Sinanyan and wished him good luck.

“This is a new status in our government, our country,” the PM said, referring to the new agency that replaced the Ministry of Diaspora.

“I’ve had several occasions to announce that we have very clear plans regarding these changes and of course the role of the high commissioner is very big in the realization of these plans,” the PM said.

Zareh Sinanyan, a former Mayor of Glendale, was appointed to serve as Armenia’s High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on June 14th, 2019.
