Speaker of Parliament, representatives of Armenian Assembly of America discuss the ways to make cooperation more effective

YEREVAN, MARCH 11, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan on March 11 received Co-Chair of the Armenian Assembly of America AnthonyBarsamian, the Parliament told Armenpress.

The meeting was also attended by the Assembly’s regional director Arpi Vardanyan.

Speaker Mirzoyan highly valued the Assembly’s role on strengthening the Homeland-Diaspora ties, as well as its long-term activity contributing to the Fatherland. Ararat Mirzoyan expressed confidence that the Assembly will continue its patriotic activity for the benefit of Armenia and all Armenians.

AnthonyBarsamian introduced the programs and works being carried out by the Assembly.

The sides also touched upon the dynamically developing Armenian-American relations, the opportunities to strengthen and deepen them, as well as exchanged views on the ways to make the cooperation more effective.
