YEREVAN, MARCH 7, ARMENPRESS. It has never been announced that the Armenian government has refused from the St. Petersburg and Vienna agreements regarding the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan told reporters after today’s Cabinet session, reports Armenpress.
“Steps have been taken for the implementation of these agreements, there is a temporary, but a significant change in the borderline. The process of expanding the capabilities of the Office of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office is not being carried out due to the Azerbaijani side”, he said.
Asked in this case why the Prime Minister and foreign minister of Armenia are having meetings with their Azerbaijani counterparts, the deputy FM stated. “Any meeting is more preferable than resumption of the military operations. And so far, the meetings aimed at reducing the risks of resumption of military operations”.
