Long Live Armenia – Armenian-Brazilian friendship glorified in Brazil

YEREVAN, MARCH 4, ARMENPRESS. Rosas de Ouro (Golden Roses) samba school performed dances within the scope of a program entitled "Viva Hayastan!" (Long Live Armenia) in São Paulo, Brazil on March 3. ARMENPRESS reports the program comprised of 5 parts – heaven, Armenian heroes, Christianity, Armenian culture and Square.

The journalists one of the major Brazilian media 'Globo' covered the performance, specially focusing on the history of the Armenian Genocide and the fates of the survivors, some of which fount shelter in São Paulo and greatly contribute to the prosperity of the country.

The performance lasted 65 minutes and was aired in 140 countries.

Rosas de Ouro samba school was founded in 1971.
