President Sarkissian pays tribute to memory of 2008 March 1 victims

YEREVAN, MARCH 1, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian on March 1 early in the morning laid flowers at the Myasnikyan statue in Yerevan paying tribute to the memory of the victims of the 2008 March 1 tragic events, his Office told Armenpress.

March 1 events refer to the 2008 post-election protests in Armenia which claimed lives of 10 people, including two security officers.
