Yerevan Mayor urges Sanitek to carry out consistent works to ensure number of garbage bins

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. Nearly 8000 garbage bins are needed for completely organizing the garbage disposal process in Yerevan, the Yerevan City Hall told Armenpress.

According to the observations, today there are nearly 5000 garbage bins in the capital.

During a working consultation today Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan urged Sanitek to carry out consistent works to ensure the necessary number of garbage bins.

The Mayor was reported that the Active Citizen online platform will serve not only for implementing this initiative, but also ensuring constant contact with the citizens in the future.

“This is what we need. The program, which we initiated, will launch, and in general, this platform will be a direct communication with our residents”, the Yerevan Mayor said.
