Vice Speaker Alen Simonyan A-OK after minor “planned” surgery

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 1, ARMENPRESS. Vice Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan from the ruling My Step faction has underwent surgery, his aide Hasmik Hakobyan told ARMENPRESS.

She said that the surgery proceeded normally and Simonyan is already feeling well.

According to her, it was a minor and planned surgery.

“For a long time Alen Simonyan had respiratory problems. And upon urges from doctors a surgical intervention was carried out yesterday. It was a planned surgery. Now he feels very well,” the Vice Speaker’s aide said.

She said Simonyan will return to work in a few days.
