YEREVAN, JANUARY 30, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan thinks that the issue of gas price supplied by Russia to Armenia should be solved in the logic of the Eurasian Economic Union, ARMENPRESS reports Pashinyan told the reporters on January 30.
“That issue should be solved in the scope of the EAEU, not bilateral relations, because it’s of key importance for the economic union”, the PM said.
According to Nikol Pashinyan, gas price remains an open issue.
“We have clearly agreed with our Russian partners that it’s an open issue which still needs to be discussed”, he said.
Starting from January 1, 2019 Russian gas price supplied to Armenia rose by 15$, reaching 165$ for 1000 cubic meter.
Pashinyan announced that the increase of the price will not affect the consumers.
