Armenia defeats Gibraltar in U21 European Football Championship qualifier

YEREVAN, JUNE 14, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s U21 football team started the European Championship qualifiers with a victory.

The Armenian team was playing versus Gibraltar in the group 7 of the 2019 European Championship qualifier.

The match was held in Faro, Portugal.

Narek Petrosyan scored the first goal in the 9th minute, with Alik Arakelyan doubling it in the 74th minute.

Petros Avetisyan scored the final goal of the match in the 85th minute, securing a 0:3 victory.
