Poroshenko says ‘Ukraine finalizes divorce with Russian Empire’ by EU visa waiver

YEREVAN, MAY 12, ARMENPRESS. Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko said ‘Ukraine finalized its divorce with the Russian Empire’ by getting the visa-free deal with the EU.

In an interview with Ukrainian media, the president said ‘Ukraine is returning to its historic place among European countries’ with the visa waiver.

The EU earlier approved visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
