Yerevan among top ten CIS cities preferred by Russian tourists

YEREVAN, MAY 3, ARMENPRESS. TourStat analysis agency included Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, in the list of CIS countries which are preferred by Russian tourists for trips during the May holidays of 2017, reports Armenpress.

The ranking was prepared based on the online hotel booking data.

The 10 CIS countries preferred by Russian tourists are the followings: Minsk, Tbilisi, Almaty, Baku, Astana, Yerevan, Kiev, Tashkent, Bishkek and Chișinău.

According to the agency’s data, Russian tourists arrive in Yerevan for 3 days on average and pay 3.1 thousand rubles or nearly 54 USD a day for staying at a hotel.
