Pegasus Airlines entry to Armenian market delayed for uncertain period

YEREVAN, MAY 3, ARMENPRESS. The entry of Pegasus airlines to the Armenian market has been delayed for an uncertain period of time, Sergey Avetisyan, head of the general department of civil aviation told reporters on May 3.

“Yesterday we received a letter from the airline. Several technical issues appeared, and the entry of the airline to our market is being delayed for an uncertain period”, he said.

Pegasus Airlines is a Turkish lowcoster. The airline had recently announced its intentions on launching direct flights from Istanbul to Yerevan three times per week.
