Unlimited joy in Metsamor town as local woman gives birth to quintuplets

YEREVAN, MAY 3, ARMENPRESS. The town of Metsamor is celebrating as the local Karapetyan family welcomed quintuplets – 4 girls and 1 boy.

Vahram Hakobyan, a town official, told ARMENPRESS they were filled with joy upon getting the news.

“The family didn’t have kids, this was the first birth. Everyone is excited and happy. The entire town is waiting to see the quintuplets”, he said.

The local official said the family lives in a dormitory. The grandfather of the kids, Ara Karapetyan, is planning to get enlisted in the armed forces, while his wife works at the nuclear power plant. Karapetyan said the town authorities will provide relevant assistance.
