Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian triumphs in Grenke Chess Classic

YEREVAN, APRIL 23, ARMENPRESS. Armenian chess grandmaster Levon Aronian officially won the Grenke Chess Classic.

Aronian was already leading in the semi-final round. The Armenian chess GM scored 5,5 points from the total 7.

The second place was shared between World Champion Magnus Carlsen and Fabiano Caruana, both of whom were behind Aronian by 1,5 points.

Levon Aronian had no defeats in the Grenke Chess Classic, which was held in Germany.
