#cometoArtsakh - Serj Tankian shares impressions of his visits to Armenia and Artsakh

YEREVAN, APRIL 8, ARMENPRESS. Armenian-American rock singer/songwriter Serj Tankian, soloist of System of a Down, joined #cometoArtsakh initiative, calling on everyone to visit Artsakh, reports Armenpress.

Sharing his photo at the border of the Republic of Artsakh on Instagram, Tankian writes: “The sign reads Free Artsakh welcomes you”.

Our Justice Within Armenia group at Shushi's Ghazanchetsots Cathedral in Artsakh. @ericnazarian #atomegoyan @arsineek and I have spent the last 10 days between Armenia and Artsakh. I will miss every moment we spent together as it was magical, insane, and incredible. Thank you to all those who followed our call to become monitors for the Parliamentary Elections in Armenia. He posted a photo in Shushi’s Ghazanchetsots Cathedral and wrote: “I have spent the last 10 days between Armenia and Artsakh together with Eric Nazarian, Atom Egoyan and Arsinée Khanjian. I will miss every moment we spent together as it was magical, insane, and incredible. Thank you to all those who followed our call to become monitors for the Parliamentary Elections in Armenia. We still have a lot of work to do there to get the type of nation we all dream of, one day at a time”.

After helping to monitor elections in Armenia, myself and my friends from #justicewithinarmenia went to Artsakh where we met some of the most amazing people including this 80 year old Diva who sang and danced in the traditional way of the people living there.
