Armenia improves position in WEF’s Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS. Armenia ranked 84th among 136 countries in the “Travel &Tourism Competitiveness Report 2017” of World Economic Forum.

“Armenpress” reports the index is defined based on the observation of conditions and opportunities created in a country for sustainable development.

Georgia is ranked 70th, Turkey – 44th, Azerbaijan – 71st. and Iran 93rd. Spain leads the list, followed by France, Germany, Japan, Britain, the US, Australia, Italy, Canada, Switzerland.

In the report published in 2015 Armenia ranked 89th.
