I visited Nagorno Karabakh as I am against Aliyev dictatorship – MEP Jaromír Štětina’s response to Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 24, ARMENPRESS. MEP Jaromír Štětina(Czech Republic)explained the reason why he visited Karabakh recently as international observer in the Constitutional referendum, reports “Armenpress”.

In an interview with Aktuálně.cz, he said he visited the Nagorno Karabakh Republic since he is against dictatorship.

The Czech ceskenoviny.cz website quoted Štětina’s Facebook post where he announces that Azerbaijan applied to Interpol to detain him, recalling that the Azerbaijani leadership initiated criminal case against another MEP Frank Engel who also visited Karabakh as an international observer.

The Azerbaijani leadership initiated criminal proceedings against those MEPs who observed the process of Constitutional referendum in Nagorno Karabakh on February 20. The Czech media strongly reacted to Azerbaijani leadership’s another unconstructive and provocative step.
