YEREVAN, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS. Meral Danış Beştaş, lawmaker of Turkey’s People’s Democratic Party (HDP) has been detained amid ongoing anti-terror investigations in the country, Anadolu reports.
The 50 year old MP has been detained for “terror related charges”.
Earlier on January 30, another two MPs of the HDP were arrested, one being released later on after testifying.
10 in the 59 HDP lawmakers remain detained in Turkey.
