France ex-PM Fillon says Georgia and Ukraine have no place in EU, NATO

YEREVAN, JANUARY 23, ARMENPRESS. Former French PM and Presidential candidate from The Republicans Mr. Francois Fillon said Georgia and Ukraine have no place in the European Union and NATO.

“It just has to be accepted that Georgia and Ukraine aren’t meant to be members of the EU and NATO”, he told Le Mond.

He also called the announcements of politicians urging Kiev and Tbilisi to be provided with membership as “irresponsible”.

French Presidential elections will be held with two stages, in April and May of 2017.
