Levon Aronian sees potential in Armenian young chess players to play in U-20 World Championship

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Armenian chess grandmaster Levon Aronian sees potential in the Armenian young chess players to play in the U-20 World Championship.

“It is more important for us not to be concentrated on U-16 and U-18 World Championships. I think it would be better for the children to play in the U-20 World Championship. It gives a chess player a chance to prepare from zero. You must play in such a way in order to fight against chess players 5 years older than you. We, I, Gabriel Sargsyan and late Karen Asryan, were playing in the U-20 Championship”, Aronian said in an interview with “Armenpress”.
