YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS. Captain of Armenia’s national football team Henrikh Mkhitaryan made a young fan’s dream come true. Hovik, a young boy, is the son of Lt. Colonel Onik Girgoryan – who heroically died in battle during the April 4 day war. Hovik’s dream was to meet Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The young boy’s dream came true due to the management of the “Gandzasar-Kapan” FC.
Hovik and his family watched the Armenia-Montenegro match in the stadium and after the match the young boy met his football idol, got his autograph and the two had a picture taken together.
The project entitled “Give them a tale” is making the dreams come true for children who lost their parents in the Karabakh war.
