1996 - 1998, Armenergo State-owned enterprise, Deputy Director General

1998 - 2001, Armenergo CJSC, Director General

2001 - Appointed Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Armenia

2001 - 2010, Armrosgazprom CJSC, Board Chairman and CEO

2009 – Elected Yerevan city council member from the RPA proportional list

2010 - 2011, Mayor of Yerevan

2011 - 2016, Gazprombank OJSC, First Vice President
