Armenian Defense Minister’s Spokesman doesn’t comment on news about Seyran Ohanyan’s appointment as CSTO Secretary General

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s Spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan doesn’t comment on the news which says Seyran Ohanyan is going to assume CSTO Secretary General’s post.

Interfax news agency, citing the Russian Government’s sources, reported that Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will probably be appointed as CSTO Secretary General.

To “Armenpress” question, how would you comment on this news, Artsrun Hovhannisyan said: “We do not comment”.

Earlier CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said the name of the new Secretary General will be announced during the CSTO Council session on October 14 in Yerevan.

He said Armenia’s representative will be appointed as new Secretary General.
