All events of Pope Francis’ visit to be broadcast live

YEREVAN, JUNE 22, ARMENPRESS. More than 600 media are accredited to cover the Pope’s visit to Armenia. During a briefing Presidential Chief of Staff Vigen Sargsyan said: “Half of this number are Armenian media, the other half are foreign. In those territories of Armenia where events are scheduled to take place, appropriate conditions are present for the effective work of the media. Press Centers are created, so that everyone can have the chance to get full information and be able to effectively cover Pope Francis’ visit”, Sargsyan said.

Vigen Sargsyan added that all events will be broadcast by Armenian TV channels live. International media representatives were given the comment text of all events in 6 different languages.

Pope Francis will arrive in Armenia on June 24.
