Viktor Khristenko chairs EAEU Business Council

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS. Former Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Viktor Khristenko was elected the Chairman of the Business Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, “Armenpress” reports, Chairman of the National Chamber of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” Ablay Myrzakhmetov informed this.

“Today the second session of the presidency of the EAEU Business Council was held, during which a decision was made to define the position of the Council Chairman. Viktor B. Khristenko was appointed the Chairman of the Council for four years”, he stated.

The agreement on the creation of the EAEU Business Council was signed in May 2015 based on the results of the 8th Astana Economic Forum.

Khristenko became the first Chairman of the Business Council, reports TASS.
