Bulgaria completes wall construction in Turkish border

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Interior of Bulgaria Rumyana Bachvarova announced the construction of the 146 km long barbed wire wall in the Bulgaria-Turkey border will be finished in July.

The Minister said the wall is built for preventing the migrant inflow from Turkey.

Last week Bachvarova, along with the Bulgarian Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, inspected the construction personally.

She also added the first and foremost purpose of the wall is for their citizens to feel safe.
