YEREVAN, APRIL 27, ARMENPRESS. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced that he plans to publish a report on global anti-terrorism strategy at the end of April during the 5th Moscow Conference of International Security.
"By the end of April I will publish a report on the implementation of global anti-terrorism strategy where the existing issues are analyzed and the future policy is determined”“, Ban Ki-moon said.
He recalled that as a result of the increase in the scales of terrorism and extremism he initiated a strengthening coordination within the framework of the Organization to support more effectively the UN member states. In particular, the activity of the group aimed to implement anti-terrorism measures has been increased which includes 38 divisions.
Ban Ki-moon called terrorism as “one of the serious challenges of our time”. According to him, “terrorists directly abuse the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights", TASS reported.
