YEREVAN, APRIL 19, ARMENPRESS. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a telephone conversation during which they discussed the faith of the Ukrainian serviceman Nadia Savchenko who was convicted in Russia, as well as the faiths of two Russian people Alexander Alexandrov and Evgeny Erofeev who were convicted by the Kiev court, “Armenpress” reports, citing RIA Novosti, the Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov says.
“The Presidents agreed that it will be possible to hold a meeting of Consul General of Ukraine to Rostov with Savchenko in the nearest future”, he said.
They also discussed the normalization of the situation in the south-eastern part of Ukraine, as well as the ongoing issues within bilateral relations.
