YEREVAN, APRIL 15, ARMENPRESS. Spokesperson of Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan has referred to the ceasefire violation cases by Azerbaijan that become more and more frequent.
As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of MFA Armenia, answering the following question of “First Informational” program of Public TV, “How would you assess the frequent ceasefire violation cases by Azerbaijan in the recent days?” Tigran Balayan mentioned, “Neglecting the numerous calls of the international community, Azerbaijan continues to violate the ceasefire regime along the entire Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line and Armenia-Azerbaijan border, using different caliber weapons, including mortars and grenade launchers, which has already claimed lives of 2.
Azerbaijan grossly violates the verbal armistice agreement of April 5, which came to restore the ceasefire established on May 12, 1994 between Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia. Azerbaijan neglects the calls of the international community aimed at exceptionally peaceful settlement of the conflict.
The military operations continued by Baku can lead to dangerous consequences, the entire responsibility of which falls on the leadership of Azerbaijan”.
